Hello!  I'm Lisa Corbett, Broker/Owner of Blue Rooster Realty.  We specialize in the historic homes and neighborhoods around Boise's northend and eastend and continually find ourselves working more and more up the two mountain highways, 55 and 21. As an independent north end company we have years of memories, as well as experience, in all of these areas and are proud to operate in the mode of "casual professionalism."*  Blue Rooster Realty can bring you everything the "big names" in Real Estate can, yet with a more personal focus where clients often become true friends.  

In this quaint older part of beautiful Boise, Idaho, Blue Rooster Realty makes a conscious effort to hire your neighbors, help your neighbors and ... we actually are your neighbors!!  We keep the money in our community and don't have to send franchise fees to someone in Seattle, New Jersey or anywhere out of state.  That way we're able to give back to our lovely Boise neighborhoods and, in many cases, give our clients a break! 

My history - My family has lived in both the Northend and Eastend of Boise since the early 1900's and I feel so incredibly lucky to have had these neighborhoods as my stomping grounds and Bogus Basin as my playground! So much has changed since then but these neighborhoods still hold onto that simpler, more trusting time and, as much as I've traveled, I've never felt safer or more content anywhere else. The Boise of yesterday is where my heart continually goes back to ... but this town has managed to keep that nostalgia along with making itself even better!

Here's a few nuts and bolts about my real estate background:  I've been buying and restoring historic homes in Boise since 1995 during the time I worked for the Boise School District as a graphic designer and then, teacher.  When I finally became a full fledged REALTOR® and started to help others buy and fix up their own homes, I realized any other profession made absolutely no sense for me.  So now, I'm a ded icated real estate broker who specializes in the area of town my family truly knows!  (I now see my BA in Fine Arts and  Masters in Education, not as a wasted expense, but as knowledge that's used in a much different way than I'd ever intended! ha!)

So, bottom line is - I will, happily, help with any property but am very skilled with what's required concerning the older homes around this town.  I, also, can provide you with helpful insights as well as highly specialized information that will help you make the right decisions. It's the combination of this unique market-knowledge and excellent negotiating skills that enable me to get you the best market price for any property you plan to sell or buy.  There's simply no substitute for having a REALTOR® and to have a Real Estate Broker on your side to boot!
